This affordable and portable device analyzes video and audio quality in MPEG over IP in real time. MP3000 utilizes a powerful and robust software decoder developed by KDDI R&D as MP-Factory and makes it easy for content providers, broadcasters, encoder/decoder manufacturers, and technicians to perform QC (Quality Control) along their broadcast chain. It includes a full decoding of HD/SD MPEG-2 video and Dolby Digital audio to measure compression noise and detect “Digital Cliff” such as motion jerkiness, frozen video, audio loss and etc. by an advanced single-end algorithm. An integrated 7.0” 800x480 LCD with touch screen allows the operator to easily operate and clearly view analysis results and captured video and audio clips. |

Just data analysis of MPEG IP is far from sufficient to capture the cause of customer complaints because problems in quality of experience with video and audio bring dissatisfactions to customers. K-WILL has more than 10 years experience to capture quality problems in baseband video and audio. By mixing K-WILL expertise with a robust decoding scheme of MPEG IP, MP3000 is able to capture quality problems from MPEG IP by a single-end method and capture it as a clip with an easy to understand analysis result. |
